The moment I picked up The Metabolic Clock my life changed. I had been diagnosed with hypertension, pre-diabetic, my knees and feet struggled to support my weight. For the first two weeks, I picked out recipes and drew up meal plans and shopping lists, I was never hungry and always felt satisfied after each meal. After four weeks, I started an exercise plan. At six weeks I was running, never thought my feet would ever carry me again let alone run again (I use to be a cross country runner). Friends and family were commenting on my glowing skin and how white my eyes are. At 12 weeks, I had a routine health check. My doctor was amazed at the transformation and the new me and I was now fit and healthy.
The hardest part of what I call my new life is knowing now how easy it is, and I ask myself the question "Why didn't I do this before I become so ill?" The Metabolic Clock isn't about diet–it's about how to live a healthy life. I'm forever grateful.
